A little friendly competition never hurt anyone. Students
started their summer off by building and decorating their very own air powered
bottle cars. All cars were not built equally. Students were given a chance to
decorate their cars with construction paper, which affected the vehicles drag. After
spending a few days building, students were able to take their cars for a spin
on the track. As stated before, the cars we powered by air. The cars were shot off at 50 psi and they were moving so quickly we had to do photo finishes! There could only be one "Champion of the Universe", but in reality
every student is a winner.
