Kid Blog

Our 3rd-8th Blog Students have the opportunity to publish their writing safely online. Students exercise digital citizenship within a secure classroom blogging space. They consistently engage in the process of pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing, publishing, and commenting. Our Kid Blog educator, Mr. Mills, plans fun lessons that compliment what our students are learning during the school day. Since our blog started about 8 months ago, our students have posted almost 3,000 posts & comments! To view our blog please e-mail cpostilli@cgcsd.org.

STEM

Our 3rd & 4th Grade Students participate in various hands on STEM activities that compliment and extend school day learning, support the individual needs of the students based on teacher feedback, and focus on common core standards. We are blessed to have Ms. Rouse as our STEM Educator who plans creative, hands-on activities for our students.

3rd & 4th Grade Field Trip to Strong Museum of Play

Recently our 3rd & 4th Students visitied The Strong Museum of Play. This trip provided dynamic opportunities for project-based learning and unique ways for chaperones to connect to school day as well as after school curriculum. Students explored the history of games, embraced learning through play, and much more!
