Oh the places we go...

Field Trips offer our A-3 After School Students valuable enrichment experiences. 
They are an outgrowth of the our academic program and provide an educational
experience from which students can grow academically and culturally.  To ensure 
field trips are aligned with the 21st CCLC program goals and objectives, careful 
attention is given to trip selection, pre-visit preparation, appropriate follow up
activities, and evaluation. 

Recently, Students Participated in the Following Field Trips:


Corning Museum of Glass: Students explored the art,
history and science of glass during a guided tour and live
glass show.

The Hornell Humane Society: Students donated over 100
pieces of Art and enjoyed visiting animals in need while 
learning about an important cause.(Students raised
almost $500 for The Humane Society by donating their
art work!)

Alfred University Engineering Challenge: A3 Students
from all local 21st Century After School Programs 
participated in two engineering challenges.

Corning Community College Discovery Day: Students
enjoyed hands-on presentations offered by faculty from
various disciplines including Psychology,Digital Art, Nursing,
Chemistry, Engineering, and much more!
